Lucky me!

I am writing to you from the lobby of one of my favorite hotels here at Walt Disney World - Disney's Grand Floridian. I cannot think of better place for a little inspiration to strike!

One of the greatest things about being a Florida resident is the Walt Disney World Annual Pass. The opportunity to have year round access to four theme parks, two water parks, DisneyQuest, ESPN Wide World of Sports and 9 holes of golf whenever I wish is something I think I'll never be able to do without. The fact that I can hop in my car and in just a few short miles, I'm driving into the "happiest place on earth" is something that many of my northern friends envy about me. And I'm telling you, there's not a lot about me to be envious of. Take today for example. I had lunch with some friends in Clermont (west of Disney) and since I was passing by on my way home, and since it had been a while 48 hours since my last visit, I thought it necessary to check in with my good friend Mickey. One monorail ride later, I found myself back in very familiar territory within the friendly confines of my Magic Kingdom. It was awesome! Even though I have been here over a thousand times (literally), I still had that sense of joy and elation that always overtakes me on each visit. The smells. The sights. The sounds. I must've looked like a goofball walking down Main Street with a smile even a grim grinning ghost would be jealous of!
I always say you can never have enough pictures of Cinderella's Castle. Don't you agree?

A trip to the Haunted Mansion is always on tap each visit! I'm thinking about putting in my application for happy haunt 1,000!

That is all for now! Just wanted to say hello! Stay Disney everybody!

The Art of Topiary Gardening from Walt Disney World Resort

Topiary gardening, the art of fashioning living plan into ornamental shapes, has been practiced for centuries. Found throughout the gardens of the Walt Disney World Resort are hundreds of topiary figures, ranging from traditional hedges and sheared trees to fanciful shapes and a whole menagerie of "chlorophyll" Disney characters. Types of Topiary Four different types of topiary at the Walt Disney World resort have developed out of our desire to put on an award-winning horticultural show. Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort will kick off a Monstrous Summer by keeping three theme parks open for 24 hours nonstop on Memorial Day Weekend, the traditional start of the family travel season. The three-park all-night party is happening at the Magic Kingdom Park in Florida and Disneyland park and Disney California Adventure park in California. The parks will stay open from 6 a.m., May 24 to 6 a.m., May 25, 2013, local time. "We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths". - Walt Disney

Greetings, fellow Disney enthusiasts! I would like to extend my sincerest apologies for my prolonged absence from the website. Due to recent personal and professional changes, I have had to prioritize certain aspects of my life over my beloved hobby. However, I am determined to turn this passion into something even more significant in the near future. As a result, the website will be undergoing a much-needed redesign within the next month or so.
