Guests can expect a special pirate pre-parade for the afternoon parade, appearances by Pirate Goofy and Jake with The Rusty Cutlass pirate band. There will also be all-new pirate makeovers at the Pirates League.

Ahoy! Make way to Magic Kingdom park for a full week of Limited Time Magic inspired by "Talk Like a Pirate Day." Be ye regaled in Adventureland by The Rusty Cutlass pirate band as Pirate Goofy and Jake from Jake and the Never Land Pirates make appearances. Then, dig up a great treasure when a special pirate pre-show leads the "Celebrate a Dream Come True" parade. Sign up for The Pirates League early and ye may even be invited by Pirate Masters to join the rousing processional on a march down Main Street, U.S.A., alongside 19 other lucky recruits and popular Disney pirates! Plus, there are all-new pirate makeovers for adults, and complimentary teeth to make your transformation complete, available while supplies last!

Magic Kingdom to open for 24 hours on Memorial Day Weekend

Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort will kick off a Monstrous Summer by keeping three theme parks open for 24 hours nonstop on Memorial Day Weekend, the traditional start of the family travel season. The three-park all-night party is happening at the Magic Kingdom Park in Florida and Disneyland park and Disney California Adventure park in California. The parks will stay open from 6 a.m., May 24 to 6 a.m., May 25, 2013, local time. In Florida, Magic Kingdom Park will feature a “Monsters University” theme where Mike and Sulley will be the Grand Marshals of the “Celebrate a Dream Come True” day parade and make appearances in Tomorrowland. There will be extra entertainment throughout the day and night, including characters in their pajamas in Town Square during the late night and early morning, and late-night dance parties in and around the courtyard of Cinderella Castle.
