WDW Passholder News!

The WDW Passholder magnet craze is back, and this time our friend Donald Duck is at the forefront!

You can pick these little beauties up at Disney's Hollywood Studios now thru June 29, 2018, or while supplies last at Mickey’s of Hollywood, Celebrity 5 & 10, Keystone Clothiers, Once Upon a Time or Walt Disney Presents.

Make sure to have your MagicBand or Annual Pass ID Card as they'll need to scan it. And please don't give the CM's grief if you ask for more than you're entitled to and they say no. This is a nice offering from Disney, so please follow the rules (or "guidelines" as Captain Barbosa would say). Do yourselves a favor and don't put it on your car. As nice as it looks, there will be someone who will think that it will look even nicer on their car and it will vanish. I know, it's a sad world that we live in when a car magnet isn't safe. ETSY has many options to by these as stickers. Mine adorn my refrigerator, along with all my runDisney race magnets.

Passholders can also enjoy the following thru June 29, 2018:
  • Early access to purchase a Toy Story Land MagicBand: Annual Passholders can visit Mickey’s of Hollywood, Celebrity 5 & 10, Keystone Clothiers, Once Upon a Time and Walt Disney Presents to purchase an official Toy Story MagicBand before it becomes available to all Guests on June 30. I picked one up and LOVE it!
  • Double character dining discounts: Annual Passholders can receive a limited-time 20% discount on all meal periods at Hollywood & Vine.
  • Daily viewings of Incredibles 2 sneak peek: From 9-10 a.m., Annual Passholders are invited to attend an Annual Passholder-only viewing of the Incredibles 2 sneak peek at Walt Disney Presents. Otherwise, you can enjoy with all other park guests during regular operating hours. I'm excited for this sequel that picks up literally minutes after the 2004 original.

The Art of Topiary Gardening from Walt Disney World Resort

Topiary gardening, the art of fashioning living plan into ornamental shapes, has been practiced for centuries. Found throughout the gardens of the Walt Disney World Resort are hundreds of topiary figures, ranging from traditional hedges and sheared trees to fanciful shapes and a whole menagerie of "chlorophyll" Disney characters. Types of Topiary Four different types of topiary at the Walt Disney World resort have developed out of our desire to put on an award-winning horticultural show. Free-form topiary and standard form topiary require your imagination and some sharp shears - the other two utilize a frame specially suited to their needs. A lightweight frame is used for shrub topiary, while sphagnum topiary require a much stronger frame specially designed to support the weight of the figure. Standard Form Topiary The world standard is used to describe a plant that is grown to a designated height and then encouraged to bush or form a "head" at t...

Magic Kingdom to open for 24 hours on Memorial Day Weekend

Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort will kick off a Monstrous Summer by keeping three theme parks open for 24 hours nonstop on Memorial Day Weekend, the traditional start of the family travel season. The three-park all-night party is happening at the Magic Kingdom Park in Florida and Disneyland park and Disney California Adventure park in California. The parks will stay open from 6 a.m., May 24 to 6 a.m., May 25, 2013, local time. In Florida, Magic Kingdom Park will feature a “Monsters University” theme where Mike and Sulley will be the Grand Marshals of the “Celebrate a Dream Come True” day parade and make appearances in Tomorrowland. There will be extra entertainment throughout the day and night, including characters in their pajamas in Town Square during the late night and early morning, and late-night dance parties in and around the courtyard of Cinderella Castle. "We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths". - Walt Disney

Greetings, fellow Disney enthusiasts! I would like to extend my sincerest apologies for my prolonged absence from the website. Due to recent personal and professional changes, I have had to prioritize certain aspects of my life over my beloved hobby. However, I am determined to turn this passion into something even more significant in the near future. As a result, the website will be undergoing a much-needed redesign within the next month or so. During this time, no new updates will be available on the site. However, please feel free to stay up-to-date with any breaking news or updates by following my Twitter or Instagram feeds. I cannot express how much I appreciate your continued support and patience over the years. Together, we have come so far, and I assure you that the new design will provide the latest information and easier navigation. Thank you once again for your unwavering support and love.
